Never before and never again will such a feat be seen as Set to Jet! This week our friend and legal counsel Drew Morgan sits in with the boys to discuss political correctness, artistic philosophy and a new favorite, rodent abuse. All this and more on Set to Jet.

Errata:

  • Drew Morgan's dates can normally be found on his Facebook, but that's disabled right now. So, I don't know! But do check out the Knox Comedy Booze Cruise.

  • Check me out at the Unitus Festival this June 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Tell them I sent you, because I have no idea how else to get paid for it!

  • And my album recording is still happening!

  • Jason's terrifying choice for this week's theme song comes from a review of Heidi 4 Paws on That Guy With the Glasses.

  • Dean Kamen invented the Segway, as well as a wheelchair that can climb stairs.

  • As for Ron Popeil, remember Ronco? He started it!

  • I can't get enough of the Peter Molydeux twitter feed. Example: “Imagine a world with just one flower where you spend the duration of the game interacting with people in order to decide who to give it to”

  • Just for the record: Set to Jet does NOT condone the murder of puppies, for art or otherwise.

  • Apparently Nietzsche may have died from complications other than syphilis. Always educational on Set to Jet.

  • As promised, the Weird Book Room, complete with Liberace and the Soldier Bear.

From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of somewhere else, it's Set to Jet! This week we're very happy to have a guest, my good friend and rising star in the Knoxville comedy scene Daniel Wade. He sits in with us to discuss the Japanese internet, old-timey radio, summer superhero movies and, of course, nudity. All that and more on this week's Set to Jet.

Errata:

* First off, I want to thank everyone who came out to the video recording of my set for the album “It Pains Me”. You'll see those clips soon and can hear the whole shebang on May 13th at the Preservation Pub.

* We still want your emails! Send us a message at settojetproductions@gmail.com

* Daniel will be appearing at the May 25th Knox Comedy Booze Cruise. Please buy tickets from him, as he is hilarious and will make you feel happy things.

* They're called “Virgin Boy Eggs”. Yep.

* The root of the Sino- prefix.

* Animal Kaiser

* Absolute Obedience (NSFW)

* Man, did I call it wrong. First off the company is Siemens, not Diebold, and secondly the made the gas chambers, not the ovens. Swing and a miss!

* Again, totally missed it. “Burn Hollywood Burn” is by Public Enemy. MY BRAIN!

* A brief history of Skinheads.

* It's called “tentacle erotica” (holy god NSFW)

* Indian Spider-Man is a badass.

* Holy crap! You can watch the first episode of Japanese Spider-Man on Marvel's website!

* There was gonna be a Jack Black Green Lantern movie. Dodged a bullet there.

* Here's Duck Dodgers doing the Green Lantern oath. Best part of the episode.

* Daffy Duck is...The Wizard.

* Look, just Google all the stuff I said about Obama. I don't have all freakin' day.

* Finally, fight to keep the CISPA bill from passing in the Senate.

A little late but still better, it's this week's Set to Jet! No guest due to technical difficulties again this week, so let's just get right to the errata!

Errata

* As we all know, Glenn Beck raped and killed a girl in 1990.

* I will not link you to Tom of Finland art. Just...look it up.

* Norwegian lay-judge system.

* The Anne Frank House is in Amsterdam, a city in the Netherlands, not Sweden.

* The Penis Pump Judge is actually from Oklahoma. I apologize to the great state of Wisconsin.

* The BP Oil Spill of 2010 is mutating all the seafood fish in the Gulf of Mexico. But no, we don't need any kind of corporate regulation in this country.

* I also wouldn't want to watch people from Wisconsin have sex in my backyard, so I can sympathize.

* Fucking, county seat of the Lewd Sexual Acts Vale in Austria.

* Guns make you look taller and stronger. So quit the gym and just buy a Glock-9.

* Look at the weird Cubone dinosaur! Bonus, that name Jason is searching for is M. gigas. So learning some thing new everyday on Set to Jet.

* Here is the Danish LARP school. Looks kinda neat.

* This is Bunker. Yep.

* And here's the premier of the Least Helpful Review Game!

* A little late but still better, it's this week's Set to Jet! No guest due to technical difficulties again this week, so let's just get right to the errata!

Hail and well-met, podcastinators! Set to Jet is a two-man show again this episode, but not having a guest doesn't mean we skimp on hilarity, geekiness or disturbing subject matter. On this edition we talk about weird Charles Manson, upcoming awesome movies, current events and, of course, horses in space. All that plus smoldering sexual tension, on this week's Set to Jet!

Errata:

* Lot to cover this week, so let's get to it. First, check out the new poster for my album recording show! That shit's done by my good friend and all around swell guy Barry Blankenship, who also cohosts the Friendly Voices podcast.

* Buy tickets for the Unitus Festival! It will be fun and there will be lots of drugs, if the idea of seeing me isn't enticing enough.

* Behold the awesomeness that is Mechawhales and Space Stallions. Gotta say, I prefer Space Stallions. But then, I would.

* That book is indeed called "Chivalry". Looks cool.

* "They should call it the Fight House!"

* T.J. Miller is insane and I love him.

* That movie is called "Lock-Out", and it does indeed star Guy Pearce. It is not being directed by Guy Ritchie, which is where the confusion came from.

* It was Marlon Wayans in Dungeons & Dragons. Marlon Wayans, everyone. Give him a big hand.

* I'd throw up a link to a story about Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman finally being put on trial, but come on. You're not that helpless.

* Same with Charles Manson. Come on folks. YouTube isn't hard.

* I refuse to promote child beauty pageant bullshit.

* But I will show you Tree Dude. You're welcome

We cover dire wolf size, kingly dispositions and, of course, the power of Peter Dinklage. All this plus spoilers galore on this week's Set to Jet.

Peering through the mists of time, Set to Jet stands watch over all! This week our guest is Becca Anderson, PhD student in the Information Department of the University of Tennessee. She sits in to talk to Jason about their shared interest, her love of sci-fi and, of course, sex dungeons. All this plus sex with an orangutan on this week's Set to Jet.

Errata:

* I guess towns for little people are a myth? I actually thought they were a real thing. Swear I saw video of one on Discovery or TLC like it was an odd but not hidden thing. I want to believe.

* This is Peter Dinklage. He is a handsome man.

* I can see how she'd dig Howard Stark. He's a snazzy guy.

* This is what Becca's wand looks like.

* This is the scene from Fellowship of the Ring that Becca has a painting of.

* Duck penises! This is NSFW, of course.

* I have no idea what the name of that documentary was or where to find it. I may have imagined it.

* Carnies have small hands.

* Everett's Many Worlds Interpretation

* I'm Sexy and I'm Homeless.

Beware the Ides of Set to Jet! Jason is back in Knoxville this week while I'm on vacation in Vancouver, BC. While in town I got a chance to talk to the co-founders of one of our favorite game design companies, Kerberos Productions. Martin Cirulis, Chris Stewart and Christ “Degrassi” Gerspacher sit down with me to talk about Sword of the Stars, the secret origin story of Kerberos, World War II games and, of course, people on the internet. All that and more, on this week's Set to Jet.

Once more into the breach with Set to Jet at the helm! This week we are once again guestless, but that just leaves more time for Sean and Jason to talk about Mass Effect 3. Like, a lot. It's most of the episode. If you haven't played it yet I'd suggest skipping to near the end to avoid getting it ruined for you. We've also got Star Wars talk, dystopic movies and, of course, puppet sex. All on this week's Set to Jet.

That ringtone sounds like the Shifting Sand Land music, doesn't it?

Seriously, huge Mass Effect 3 spoilers in this episode, starting with talk about Bioware raiding Getty Images and DeviantART for assets. Yep.

You really should watch Terry Gilliam's “Brazil”. Director's Cut. None of this theatrical bullshit.

The Strong Anthropic Principle, to make sense of some of what we're talking about

The Happytime Murders, which is now the movie I am most looking forward to by a wide margin.

On a similar note, Puppet Rapist. I'm sorry.

And finally, Tokyo Tribe 2's “Goosh Goosh”. I'm REALLY sorry.

It's high noon at the podcast corral for Set to Jet! This week our guest fell through, so it's a tandem solo episode featuring just your humble host Sean Riccio and his stalwart companion Jason Zapata. Today's episode features Mass Effect 3, old-timey cartoons, and everyone's favorite, sex with dogs. All this, plus uncomfortable revelations, on this week's Set to Jet.

Eratta:

* No guests this week, so let's jump right to my personal plugs. Come see my album recording! “It Pains Me” will be recorded on May 13th at the Preservation Pub. Tickets are free and our friend Riley Fox is featuring. Exciting!

* Other friend of the show Arinn Dembo has released her book Monsoon and Other Short Stories. Buy it for your physical shelf and digital devices!

* Please continue to support my friend Moses C.'s Prince of Trinita and her fund to get it published.

* This is that Upright Citizens Brigade sketch I referenced. You're welcome.

* Books bound in human skin! It's called “anthropodermic bibliopegy”

* These are the Hyksos. This is now an educational show.

* Spoilers for Dragon Age: Origins, if you haven't already played that four year old game.

* Chekov's Gun. Education!

* “Fuck You, I'm a Dragon”

* “Ate My Balls” on Know Your Meme

* Turns out that suicidal girl did get shot with the Renegade option in Mass Effect. Point: Jason.

* “Big Savings In Every Department” from Penny Aracade

* The voice actor for the male Commander Shepard is...Mark Meer! More education!

* The name of that N64 game is Space Station Silicon Valley.

* This is Olivia Munn. This is the Gawker article about her. This is the program used to make those pics. Yep.

An exemplary Betty Boop cartoon*
